We usually give Bella another bottle right before bed so she won't wake up hungry. But I do know the teething thing makes her wake up, too. She would scream, cry, etc and only a bottle and rocking in the chair could put her back to sleep. Are his gums swollen? I hope he starts sleeping better for ya :) Keep us posted, sweetie!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18157079109164214233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4327942561689404267.post-78657109877805238572008-07-07T17:26:00.000-04:002008-07-07T17:26:00.000-04:00I hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend! We could see our towns from our driveway and I thought that was pretty stinkin' good!

Eliza has been waking up in the middle of the night too - which is weird cause she is a fantastic sleeper. I think it's because she is rolling over and that causes her to wake up. All that to say... I was feeling the wake-up int he middle of the night pain, last week, too.
I hope you are able to figure out what Will needs!

Whoo-hoo! I love/hate dips!

-AndreaAndrea@Sgt and Mrs Hubhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02226888560872834473noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4327942561689404267.post-79270328085488028212008-07-06T23:18:00.000-04:002008-07-06T23:18:00.000-04:00Hmmm... does he show signs of new teeth coming in ...Hmmm... does he show signs of new teeth coming in during the day? Maybe it is just a growth spurt and he really is hungry. Have you tried an extra feeding during the day?

If it's his teeth and not hunger, something you might want to try (it worked for my two) is Orajel nighttime gel. I never used the daytime stuff (during the day I had them chew on those refridgeratable - lol is that a word - plastic rings that are filled with water).

The night time gel works well because you only need a very small amount, and it instantly numbs the gum. For my two it was enough to quiet the gum pain and let them fall back asleep without waking up too much.Jeanne Ellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12096040179637686179noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4327942561689404267.post-75887747494676442002008-07-05T11:11:00.000-04:002008-07-05T11:11:00.000-04:00Oh and to answer your question....Carter woke up f...Oh and to answer your question....Carter woke up for a middle of the night bottle until he was 8 months old. He would gulp it down and then go RIGHT back to sleep.

I know alot of my mom friends told me he didn't need it, but it was one of those things that I felt like HE DID. He was a big baby and the fact that he went RIGHT back to sleep after drinking it made me feel like he wasn't pulling one over on me....he really was hungry. And then one day, he just stopped waking up for it. I think he was eating solid food...like REAL solid food...little bits of meat, and mashed potatoes, etc. and was truly "filled" when he went to bed.

Again, just my experience....I probably did things WAY wrong but it worked for us.McMommyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14205694488371923701noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4327942561689404267.post-54990566669640620332008-07-05T11:06:00.000-04:002008-07-05T11:06:00.000-04:00how cute!!! What are some good exercises to get my bat wings (aka arms) toned quickly??McMommyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14205694488371923701noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4327942561689404267.post-67050790798380931492008-07-04T12:22:00.000-04:002008-07-04T12:22:00.000-04:00Hope you guys have a great day!!! And fireworks from your balcony sounds just perfect - lucky you . . . those are great seats! :-)

Can you pick Will up and get him back to sleep without a bottle? I would guess it's just a phase (teething or growth spurt or something) and it will pass. He is young enough that a bottle won't hurt him in the middle of the night . . . but I know it's tiring for you to get up with him!!!A Crafty Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08530128828277207683noreply@blogger.com
