We have "fall"en back into blogging...

As you know, we have been gone for quite some time! We did a couple mini beach vacations to our local beach which Will loves! What a water and sand boy!

I do have a lot more pics, I just have to go through and pick out all my favorites to share. Lew got a promotion at work, which is wonderful but he is very busy and constantly working. So Will and I spend quite a bit of time together. He even comes to help me train my clients! Let's just say he is getting pretty good at counting! Two and nine are his favorite numbers to say. He jumps, he doesn't run, he sprints! He is talking up a storm which is just unbelievable to me, my little baby no more.

Will and his hamming it up smile...

A day out in the leaves helping mommy rake...

Yes, that is a green "Starbucks" straw. Let's just say Will's favorite word is "MORE"!

I just love that smile...

Will's first Navy game. A very cold, chilly and wet day!

Tired and run down from his cousin's all girl 7th birthday party this summer...

Just showing off his melon after playing in the water with the girls...

Will and Mommy at the Navy game...

Look at all those teeth! My vampire boy...
I promise there will be more pics to come and we will be here when you come back to visit! We missed blogging but now that we are home more, we have all the time in the world!

Before I end this post, I just want to say to my dear friend/client/mom advise giver, Barbara I hope you are doing well. Pam and I miss you so much at our sessions and cannot wait for you to kick cancer to the curb! We love our cheerleader...

Happy 15 Months Willsey...

Today my baby is 15 months old! Not really a baby anymore but in my eyes he is. Things that you are doing now...

climbing up stairs
climbing on our bed
climbing on furniture and getting yourself down
you are almost able to take a step up by yourself
you know when you have made a "poo" sorry...thought he might like to know
you can point out balls and snakes in the books we read
outside you know where to find flowers and how to smell them
you scrunch your nose to smell and it is the cutest pic ever
you are such a good eater...you love any berry and pretty much any veggie
you can drink a whole sippy cup of water in less than 3 minutes which shocks us
you smile so big when you see baby Einstein come on and you love to sit in daddy's lap
you have a mouth full of teeth and are now working on your K9's
soon we are going to start a swim class and I know you will love it just as much as you love water in general
you have the most beautiful crystal blue eyes that melt my heart
when you do something amazing, I tear up
people say you are wise beyond your year, I think so too
you sometimes like to sit in your room and "read" your books by yourself
you jump up and down in your crib like a monkey
at night when I go to bed, I always fix your blankets and watch you sleep. I kiss my hand and press it to your face
i am so blessed to have you in my life and so happy that today on your 15 month birthday the sun is shining for you
happy 15 month birthday my sweet Will
xoxo...mommy

The Power is out...what a moment

On Friday our power went out in the morning. Will was a bit disappointed when I had to heat his milk up the old fashioned way, with hot water. He and I were sitting on the living room floor watching the sun come up and out of the blue, he rested his head on my shoulder. It was so sweet.

I looked at him as he snuggled up to me and then I turned and looked outside. Here comes the lovey dovey moment...he looked up at me, grabbed my face and turned it towards his and then rested his head back on my shoulder. What a mommy moment I was having. I started to tear up! Every time a special moment happens with him or he reaches a milestone or I watch something that touches me I start to tear up! It's like all of a sudden you become a mom and water works appear? Do you have the mommy tears?

I asked Lew last night if he thought Will would mind me calling him bubsy when he was 16 and Lew was like yeah that's not going to happen. For now I will enjoy each and every mommy moment I can get, because this baby now toddler is growing up too quickly!

Happy Weekend to everyone! Hope the sun is shining where you are...

It's been a long...long...long...time...

It has been 3 long months since last posting! Hard to believe. But the mom/work/wife/side training business was a little hard for me to balance. I am now at home with Will and just doing in home personal training. My boss pretty much screwed me...he cut my hours back and I was not getting credit for all the sales I did. It made no sense to stay there for limited hours and still pay for Will's child care. So I am back...hopefully to stay.

There are so many pics and events that have happened in the last 3 months but I will start here with Easter. Will was not to into finding the eggs but would rather throw them like "balls". Which is his favorite word to say now. He has added Ma Ma, Da Da, Dog, Tank ooo (Thank you), and some more gibberish. I am just so surprised at how quickly my little bubsy is growing up.

It is so great to be back and catching up on blogs and posting about my little man, Will. Missed you all!

Golfer Hat, sweater vest and tie...who said boys are hard to shop for!

My attempt at a purple bunny cake

Will with his Ball

Will's teethy smile...just can't get enough!

Mommy and Her Bubsy

Looks like he is trying to say Ball...of course

What a perfect Easter day...Mommy and Bubsy

I think I smell Mommy's Bunny cake...or maybe I am a Bunny!

My little Tiger Woods in training...

Teething is in full force in our household...what a trooper!

Happy New Year...We're Back!

I know it has been a while...I blame it on the holidays!

We traveled to Chicago...a 12 hour drive turned into...oh 15 hours. But worth it to be with family. Will had a horrible cold and two ear infections but was an angel. He did awesome! The way there was bad and let's just say the drive home was long. I ended up with a cold and so did Lew.

But our little trooper never whined. We are truly blessed with one amazing little bubba! Here are some photos over the past month.

We are in the midst of planning his big FIRST Birthday...which I cannot believe is almost here.

Enjoy the photos...sorry for being such a bad blogger lately.

A post about nothing...

It is Sunday in the afternoon. Will is sleeping. I now have time to blog. I used to be so good at this blogging thing when I had more time. But lately I do not.

Some things that have happened in the last couple of days...

Will has taken a couple of steps unassisted. We were so excited! Of course I had the mommy tears.

Will is fascinated and loves to watch Blues Clues. Frankly we prefer Steve over Joe. Sorry Joe.

Will fell asleep in daddy's arms today watching Baby Einstein.

Will fell asleep on Friday night at 6:15 in my arms while I rocked him. I felt like I had a 3 month old baby in my arms.

Beginning to believe that Will is working on some more teeth. He is sucking on his hand so bad that he has left a little cut. Plus the drool is pouring out. Do any of you know is a strong urine a sign of teething? That is what his sitter said. I looked it up online and they say that it can be. Definitely not a urinary tract, he has been normal as can be and no fever.

Looks like we might be going to Chicago for Xmas so Will can see his Grandma. Might be the first white Xmas I can remember. Let's cross our fingers.

Will loves pat a cake. He claps his hands and gets so excited. When he hears a song he likes he will even start to clap. Such a cutie.

Think we have another pasta lover in the house. Will. He loves it!

He holds his own sippy cup.

We showed him his bottle which he gave up for his sippy cup at 7 months. He had no clue what to do with it. Like it was some foreign object we were putting in front of him.

Going to make homemade granola for some friends for the holidays. Will also make some cookies...just don't know when.

Have some Thanksgiving pics that I need to stick up. I will. Hopefully soon we will pay a visit to Santa. Hope Will likes him.

Happy Sunday....Oh...Lew says, "Go Bears!" Gotta love your hubby.
