So with all the rocking that I am doing to put Will sleep my neck, my elbows, my knees, my back, you name it it is hurting!! I feel like I have tendinitis in all my joints. I just got the book Baby Wise today that helps parents get babies on routines, so I am hoping that this book helps me. Lew will try and rock our little guy but it is not the same for him. I think he is so used to me doing the rocking. I will let you know how the book is, I have heard some great reviews on it.
The newest news on Will... lately he has been trying to roll over. If you move a toy over his head and go side to side he really follows it and almost gets over on his side. It is amazing! He is entranced by lights and bright blinking colors. It all happened so quickly, his eyes opened up and he is seeing everything. He is reaching for toys over him, he has grabbed them a couple times and when he does he takes it right to his mouth. So cute! Will also enjoys going in the stroller on warm days..he makes cooing sounds and laughs when the air hits his face. He is the ever changing baby, so I will keep updating often.

To Ferberize or not to ferberize..that is the question...
As I mentioned last week, we have been trying to get Will to sleep in his crib. Well we are going on our 6th consecutive night. We are thrilled! We tried Dr. Ferber's method of leaving him in his crib for a certain amount of time and then going in and checking on him. That did not work! He was so furious with us. So we will continue to rock him to sleep. I figure once he gets more active he will be putting himself to sleep. Sleeping in his crib has changed his sleeping patterns a little but I will take that over him sleeping in his bouncer. I do get a little paranoid and check on him a lot but I think it is me just getting used to him being in another room. So the next thing that we will work on is getting him to sleep a little more through the night. I have heard of a book called "Baby Wise" so I am going to check that out and see if it has any helpful hints for this.
I have noticed that at 3 months there is a lot that Will wants to grab onto and suck on but he can't quite get it to his mouth, sometimes he is successful though. At this stage you can also see when they are getting bored, need more entertainment, or just want to be held. This weekend my next purchase for the little guy will be one of those activity saucers. He has pretty good stability, his neck is getting much stronger, so if he is only in it for a couple of minutes, hey it is a couple of minutes. That will be exciting.
You can see his personality coming out as well, he definitly knows who his mommy and daddy are and if you leave from his sight and he is in a mood, he will let you know.
I have been debating on when to go back to work and if I wanted to go full time. I have been doing a little bit of Personal Training on the side. I actually had an interview last week for a Personal Training position that would give me the chance to work for myself, which is kind of nice. I can make some of my own hours, which would be perfect for Will. So we shall see what pans out.
Oh, we got rid of our big gas guzzler Tahoe and got a Ford Escape. It is really cute and perfect for our little family.
Here is a pic of Will, with one of his fishing hats on.. He does not really like hats but he will definitly need them in the summer! Too Cute!!!

Updated News..
So it has taken me a while to get back to the blog thing. Will has been keeping me quite busy and we have all been having issues. But we are back. I will try and be more regular. Who knew a baby would keep you so busy?? LOL!
Will is growing like a weed, he smiles and giggles a lot. He has found his hands and sucks on them regularly. We actually think that he might be in the beginning stages of teething as he is drooling so much and he is chewing on anything that is near his mouth. I thought it was a little early but they say it can happen. He just got his first haircut, if you have seen the pics on this blog you will see why. His hair grows really fast and was getting a little wild.
About a week or so ago we started to give him a little cereal, not much but it has made a world of difference is his sleeping habits. He usually falls asleep between 7-8:30pm and then will usually wake us around 4-5:30. That part is good, but somehow he is has been very difficult for us to get him to sleep in his crib. We have determined that our little man loves vibrations hence why he likes to sleep in his bouncer. But we have been making attempts at getting him in there and we have found a vibration/musical/light doo-hicky that we are going to get that you attach to a crib and it vibrates the crib. The other cool thing is it is voice activated, so when he cries it will start up again. I am hoping this will work. He is getting a little too big to be sleeping in his bouncer at night. I have told Lew though, the next kid(years down the road) will be put in the crib from birth. IT will be so much easier! WHO KNEW! No one worned me about this.
Now, Will is in his crib, I am hoping and praying that he will sleep tell his first feeding, we shall see. I have Seal's "Amazing" on our ipod playing over and over. That is one of his favorite songs.
Oh, almost forgot, Will has been doing really well on sitting him, not un-assited but he is so strong. We did get him one of those bumbo chairs, which he likes. I will post some new pics when I get on our other computer. It is the most wonderful thing to see how a newborn can change so quickly, you think where did those months go? Good night for now.
Jenny :)
