Remember a post or two ago when I was so excited that Will has received the gift of two teeth. Well, let me just say I was not prepared for what was to come after the teeth started to come through. Will has always been the best baby for the 4 months of his life, no colic, no real fussiness. But the wrath of Will has come out in full force. I thought the bottom two teeth were the easiest and the least painful . Not for Will! He had us up a lot last night, nothing seemed to pacify him either. Cold wash cloth, cold teething ring, cold binky, and lastly mommy's hand. Nothing. Then came the swing that we do love so much. Nope even the old faithful swing did not help last night! Can you believe it?? I needed an adult version of that swing last night! Finally he fell asleep with me rocking him in the rocking chair, his LEAST favorite place. Something has to give, come on. If these two bottom teeth are this bad, I can't wait for the molars to come in. Any mom out there have some advice and relief on teething? We will gladly accept it!

Will loves his voice...oh and a little look back
Everyday it is something new with Will. Within the last two days he has started to talk so much, but it is not just talking it is more like shrilling yells of laughter. If you can get the picture. I will get video of this soon but it is the funniest thing to witness. Last night we put him down for his normal bedtime and two hours later he is still up talking, screaming, and shrilling about. Not wanting to go to bed. Soon the shrilling came into laughter and crying at the same time. Finally, we just could not take it anymore and gave in for a car ride around the block and a little "Seal", or as we like to call it, " I want you to think you are always amazing." We are now believe that Will likes this tune because he in fact thinks he is amazing, which we think too! LOL! He did eventually fall asleep after about 10 minutes or so. By this time we were exhausted. Once I get video of this I will post it up.
A year ago today we had just arrived in our long overdue honeymoon to the bahamas, courtesy of my sister Misti and brother in law Kev. We had just found out about our little peanut, what a big peanut he is now! Pic above is of the oh so lovely bahamas! Just a little reflection. That's all it is.
Have a great weekend!

4 Month Check Up..more shots..ouch..and TEETH!
There is so much to write about since last Friday when Will had his 4 month check up. He did really well. He is now 14lbs.13ounces and he is 26.25 inches long/tall. He is right on track and Dr. P actually gave the go ahead to start some baby food. We have been giving him rice cereal in his bottle to help him sleep at night..which is a no no since he needs to eat that with a spoon. So I we will try the cereal again without the bottle in a week or two.
Obviously when we took Will for his 4 month check up I had a list of questions and one was that Will had been drooling non stop for the last month and half. Well, Dr. P said that every baby at this stage starts to learn that they have saliva and it is just uncontrollable. Will's is definitely uncontrollable. See the evidence above. Can you believe that face?!! He is too cute. The cutest baby ever! Every mom says that though..it's definitely true! Anyway Dr. P looked in his mouth and did not see any sign of teeth coming through but just informed us that between the ages of 4-6 months is when babies really start to drool and perhaps show a sign of incoming teeth around 6 months or so.
Well, come Saturday Will started to get a horrible rash on his soft little baby face and then come Sunday he had a stuff nose, he was sneezing, coughing and had a slight fever. I thought it could possibly be allergies, I was not wanting the first cold to be here either. With a little research online, it seemed like he could be really teething. We gave him a little tylenol and I felt in his mouth, nada, nothin'. The fussiness went on through the night and being awakened at 3:30 to the little man crying and not wanting to go back to sleep, I knew something was up. So I brought him into bed with us and with a little rubbing on his back he fell asleep. Morning comes and I am taking my shower, Lew comes in and says, "WE HAVE TEETH!" I was in shock! Here it is that the doc just looked in his mouth on Friday and I just had my hands in there the day before to feel for teeth and felt nothing. Our little Will has his two bottom teeth coming in at the same time! I am still shocked just writing about it! It seems so early. They say it is genetics on when babies will get their teeth. Well, Lew asked his mom and she said that he got his late. So I assumed that since my mom is not here to ask that I must have gotten mine early. I am going to call my grandma and find out. My sisters are in shock too. My baby getting teeth! Here are some pics. It is really hard to see but, you can see white little shadows on the bottom. We will put some more pics up when they really pop through.

And Our Rotty Ella...
Here is Ella our 4 year old Rotty with my sunglasses on. She is in her favorite spot, the warm sunshine. Lew was on a tour of duty in Texas and decided we needed a puppy. She was the runt of the group and only girl left. He could not resist her cute pupplicious face! Ella is awesome with Will and very protective of him. She loves to lay on his blankets next to him, it is the funniest picture to see a rotty next to our little man. She definitely does not have the rotty characteristics, she is more like a lab and she thinks she is a lap dog. We love her and I am sure Will, will have many years running and playing with her.

Introducing the Familia!!!
My brother David and his daughter Julie when she was just a baby! They look exactly alike with that dark brown hair!
Here is Misti and her husband Kev. What a cute couple! Highschool sweethearts, can you believe it?!!! They are so laid back and cool, Will will have a great Aunt and Uncle to look up to.
Here are my nieces, Julie, Lilly and Kaiya. Julie and Kaiya are my brothers girls and Lilly is Mimi and Kev's daughter. They were the flower girls in our wedding.
Lew and his sister Lisa at the wedding. Yes. That is the same glass of champagne. He's not a champagne lover like me.
Lew and his mom at our wedding. We could not have asked for a better day to get married! This is a good picture of them both.
My sister Shan looking glam before my wedding by the water.
Here I am with my sister Mimi at a family dinner. That was a fun night of wine drinking and being with loved ones!

BABY IDOL!
I should have mentioned this at the beginning of the week. We entered Will in a local radio contest for the cutest baby in D.C. If everyone could go to hot995.com and click on baby idol and vote for Will from Annapolis. You have to click on xyz, for some reason they put him under there. But if he wins he will get a whole bunch of cool baby stuff! Thanks for voting! Thanks for picking me!

So once we get a actual video of him doing it, we will post it up. IT is so cute! Oh, I got the babywise book and it is a awesome book.
