Mommy's Pon . . .

Recently it was that time of the month for me.

And seeing how it is that I have a 2 year old that follows me everywhere, he happened to witness me, ummm.. how shall I say this....

...using a feminine product.

Trying to shoe him away...he was still curious. Yes. I know. This sounds weird. Maybe a little too personal. Maybe it happened to you? So.

Anyway. That was that. Or so I thought.

Later that day we were upstairs doing laundry and out came Will, with a tampon tucked into his waist band! He had reached into the medicine cabinet and just helped himself! I could not help but laugh.

So. I had to tell him. These are mommy's tampons and only for mommy, not for Bubsy. Of course he looked blank in the face and got kind of po'd when I took it away from him.

Fast forward a few days later and thinking the whole incident is out of his head. I was making our bed and out comes Will with another tampon, only this time he is holding it, thank the lord and says, "Mommy's pon" and then he hands it to me. Gotta love him!

Have you ever had something embarrassing like this happen before?

Oh lord, yes. And when they get older they STILL try and follow you into the bathroom. I am constantly telling my boys to GIVE ME SOME PRIVACY!

Bubba found my pregnancy test in the bathroom closet and discovered I was pregnant before I was ready to tell him. I tried to play it off, but he was like... this isn't an old one, I know this is new.

Hi!! Thanks for visiting my blog! The uh, usage of lady products with an audience watching happens with my 2 year old, too. Also, when showering together, he's tried to check out my business while I was rinsing shampoo out of my hair! Woo! Wasn't expecting that!

I have experienced a very similar incident. Except my daughter kept asking me why I was bleeding and if I was hurt. She talked about it for DAYS.

That is funny. My friends baby flushed tons and tons of them down the toilet and when they were having issues and called a handyman he said that there was a huge blockage of feminine products backing things up...my friend knew they weren't all from her...

I remember those days with my boys! Now my daughter is at that stage. She goes everywhere with me, of course . . . including the bathroom like your little man. Yesterday she helpfully handed me toilet paper to take care of business. ;) No private moments here!

Oh my.. that's too funny (and so cute!!)

I don't have any stories like that yet, my little boy is only 4 1/2 months, but I'm sure I'll have plenty soon.

I like your blog, thanks for visiting mine. :)

Angie.

That is hilarious. Both girls have pulled them out and started playing with them...never have they brought me one, though. Too funny.
