its all I got.
a random post just for you.
my pregnancy brain has nothing new and exciting really to share except the randoms.
had a check up yesterday and i am currently at 2cm. little man's head is still high. but i beg to differ. he feels like he is resting right on my bladder.
my sister is coming back from a business trip today. thank goodness, since she is my other right hand man. not sure what I would do if I went into labor without her. she definitely helped motivate me last time and was very encouraging.
will is doing amazing in school. loves it. he's even sharing toys at school. a big thing. he is so smart too! i am amazed how quickly he picks things up. he has a very "engineering" type of mind. he is better with numbers than he is with letters. which is good because i was horrible at math, still am. i excelled in english courses, so i can always help him there!
he has officially changed his mind about being polar express for halloween. he is going to be a puppy now. the costume is really cute and definitely suits him these days. glad that i got it, just in case the little guy decides to make an early appearance. i would hate for will to miss halloween. he asks me everyday if it is halloween yet. such a cutie.
we are totally ready for baby. we do have to get a second crib mattress but i am not too concerned about that right now since he will be sleeping in the co-sleeper for a little bit. clothes are washed and put away. bags are officially packed. car seat ready. big brother gift bought for will. which i think he will love. i got lew a really nice card, that made me ball of course. just have to remember to give it to him.
lew got me an early push gift...a pandora bracelet! and it is totally gorgeous. he actually let me pick it out because he wanted me to really like it, since we can add to it. i have started wearing my heart necklace that he got me for will with his initials on it. hoping it will be my good luck charm.
have felt the need to bake lately. just made chocolate chip cookies with m&m's, two different recipes of pumpkin muffins. one with raisins and one with chocolate chips. i like the chocolate chip ones the best. thanks lindsay! kinda feel like baking something today, but not sure what. any good recipes you want to share?
enough rambling. time to get productive. ha. who am i kidding. i might be in my pjs for more than half the day.

a long week . . .
This past week has been interesting to say the least! This is my first time getting on the internet since Saturday. Why you ask? Hurricane Irene decided she was not going to be very friendly to us! She knocked down trees all over our county and wires were litereally everywhere! We did not get on power on tell late Tuesday night!
We were in complete darkness for a total of 3 days, not my idea of fun but we dealt with it. By Monday night, I had a complete and utter meltdown. Will's dvd player lost its charge, my laptop was not wanting to play any of his dvds, he had not been falling asleep tell after 10pm and I just needed a moment. Finally, I grabbed his books and told him that we could read with our flashlight for a little bit, which thankfully he was willing to do for the gazillionth time. He fell asleep. I sat crying on my bed eating M&M's. Where was Lew? Working. Definitely glad he wasn't there to see this hormonal meltdown. Finally, I got control of my hormones and started reading my own book and finally fell fast asleep after all the tears. Not fun my friends, not fun at all! Did I mention that everything in our fridge had to be throw out? Good times.
So in the last week, we have made it through an earthquake, a hurricane and raging hormones! Yippee!!!
Right now, I am feeling good. Nesting has started, which I love because I am an organizing freak. Baby boy #2 is such a mover, constantly doing flips and flops. Has not developed the hiccups on a regular basis. I think he is going to be longer than his big brother. Feels like we might have a basketball player on our hands. I can't believe in 2 months or less maybe, he will be here! This time around it has gone so fast and I am soaking it up because this might be the last one for us. Yes. We have said he will be the last one. But, you never know. I will post another belly picture soon.
Will starts school next week, and he cannot wait! A totally different experience from last year. He keeps asking me when he can go and cannot wait to meet his friends again. He has become such a big kid but to me he still has his baby-ness. He is always curious, asks lots of questions and never stops talking. A good thing and a bad thing. We are still working on the eating habits but I told myself, I can't stress about it. We met his new pediatrician and she was amazing and gave some helpful hints. Will is sleeping great through the night and actually sleeping in lately, which I love! I have been able to stay up later and read and sleep in myself. So nice because soon it won't be possible.
Went to our local Wee Sale which is a huge consignment sale that local moms get involved in. There are racks and racks of clothes. Baby items, toys, books, dvds and tons more. I was really going to see if I could find some fall play clothes for Will since he goes through them so quickly. I actually found 2 brand new Gap hoodies for him that only cost me $6! Total deal. I got a couple of long sleeve shirts for him, some sweatpants (Gap), and some jeans for about $20. I am always amazed at the deals that I come away with! I did happen to take a look at the baby boy clothes even though I know I don't need anything, I couldn't help it. They had so much which they usually don't. I got a pair of Gap carpenter jeans, with 2 long sleeve Gap onesies for $4! Did I mention those were brand new too! Then I got a couple of Gymboree outfits all for about $20. So in total I maybe spent $50 on the two boys and got so much stuff. I am always proud when I can save my family extra money on things like this. If I would have gotten this stuff at the Gap, I would have easily spent over $150. I usually go to the Gap when they have sales because I think they have the best quality clothes for boys and they are usually the cutest. But, it's gotta be a deal.
Okay, now that this post has become a total random, I think I will stop here before you all get bored. Have a great Thursday!

where i post about . . .
- I heart random days.
- I ordered potty power per a wonderful blogger's review. Hoping it gets Will excited about the potty.
- Will is obsessed with the movie, Up. I cry at the end every time when he gives the little boy the "Ellie" badge. Such a sweet movie.
- A year ago Will was introduced to Thomas and ever since, he has been totally entranced with that blue engine!
- Can you believe we are thinking of even getting him the Thomas toddler bed? I am not so sure about it but Lew thinks that Will's love of trains will at least get him to age 5. But at the rate he is growing he will be too big for it by the age of 4!
- Speaking of age, my sweet little bubsy is turning 3 on Sunday! I can't believe it. I am actually looking for this amazing montage that my brother did on his first birthday. I would love to post it.
- Thursday, I have Will's first review with his teacher. I am kind of nervous what she will say, I think he is pretty smart but I am his mom. I mean what kind of review can you give for a 2 year old?
- We were going to do a birthday party at My Gym but decided against because a lot of his friends from school haven't done birthday parties, so I felt kind of weird being the first one doing it. I know. One of the items on my list was to get more involved with other mom's. I was actually going to volunteer at Will's school but a bunch of other mom's beat me to it!
- Anyway, back to the birthday. We are going to see Tangled, eat at Will's favorite Chinese restaurant and have ice cream cake, which he requested. What did he want for his birthday? Trains.
- He is also having a little party in his class on Friday and I am going to attempt to make this really cool duck cupcakes. If they turn out, I will post a picture. They better!
- Shows I am totally obsessed with right now, all the housewives (pretty much anything on bravo), parenthood, teen mom, biggest loser, kimora life in the fab lane (not sure why i am watching this/pretty much rotting my brain), and behind the scenes on oprah's new network, master class is pretty good too.
- Lastly, I am thinking of cutting my hair. It is pretty much down to the middle of my back and I would like to donate it to locks of love. Lately I have just been putting it back in a pony tail, and to me that's a sign that maybe I need to go shorter. I would love to do one of those pixie cuts that all the stars are rocking but, definitely do not have the courage to do that! What do you think?

Total Randomness . . . because.
Have you noticed that there has been a lack of blogging lately? With summer on its way out I thought it would be easy to get back into blogging.
NOT.
Here is the randomness at its best...
Will is loving school and adjusting well to it. I am hoping to start taking a yoga class during that time but lately I have been training during that time. BOO!
I am in total need of some me time.
The me time has been lacking because Will got sick over this past weekend and this cold is acting like it wants to stick around. Snot is everywhere, its just plain gross!
I ended up taking him to the pediatrician only to find out that he has another set of ear infections. I think this is his 9th set this year! Yes. That is one every month!
So. We have now seen an ENT doctor and my poor little Will-z bubsy has to get tubes and has to have his adenoids taken out. Major sobs happening hear not only by Will but by me as well. Next week we will have a pre-op appt. and then the following Thursday he will have the surgery. I am just so disheartened because I really thought he would grow out of them like I did but its just not in the cards.
Enough of that, its too upsetting.
Have any of you been watching Teen Mom? I am rooting for all those girls, Maci is such an amazing mom, I don't know how she does it. I feel bad for Catlin, her mom is so un-supportive and so mean! This show is definitely my guilty pleasure.
In other news my sweet hubby, Lew will be turning 30 next week and I am trying to figure out what to get him for this big milestone. Any ideas?
Have a great weekend!
NOT.

i love to ramble .
I love having random days and today feels just as good as ever to do that. Here it goes....
- it has been hot as you know what here. we have not been outside much, a little in the morning and some days we fill up the pool.
- i never told you that bubsy's visit to the ped. ended up in him still having a sinus infection and an ear infection. it seems he is prone to a lot of antibiotics.
- friday we are going to go back for an ear check because he has been off his antibiotics for a week now but lately he has been messing with that same ear that was infected. not a happy camper here, either of us.
- potty training started and stopped. i got a horrific cold and just stopped. i have a feeling this is going to be a lot harder than i thought. bubsy went on the potty once but he was totally holding it and i just felt horrible about that.
- lew is working a lot this week, which totally sucks.
- we are going to go to Illinois in a couple of weeks and i cannot wait to have a little vacation
- i have been reading so much this summer. read a lot of random books but i have also read all the sophie kinsella books, which are easy, fun reads.
- bubsy has become quite the jokester. he makes funny faces, jokes around, and lately he when he says thank you, he repeats it a couple of times, like tank u tank u tank u mama...he sounds like an italian! so cute.
- totally addicted to big brother and i am so excited that teen mom is coming back on tonight...yes. i watch teen mom. i hated the way the hills ended...but oh well.
- okay. i am done. time to go and train.

Because What Is A Day W/O . . .
RANDOMNESS.
You all know how much I love to be random. In fact I am thinking maybe I should start a meme on it. You know a day when you can just list random things. Not have to give a thought to your post that day. Sometimes you need those days, those posts.
Here are my randomly random thoughts on this Thursday:
You all know how much I love to be random. In fact I am thinking maybe I should start a meme on it. You know a day when you can just list random things. Not have to give a thought to your post that day. Sometimes you need those days, those posts.
Here are my randomly random thoughts on this Thursday:
- Yesterday I went to the grocery store and spent a lot of stinkin' money and I am not sure of what I even got. Maybe it was those yummy oh so desirable cherries that said they were $2.99/lb and somehow what I thought was a lb. was actually 3.5lbs. of yummy oh so desirable cherries. They better be good cherries!
- Why do people go to a large checkout lane and decide that they are going to pay 3 separate ways for their order? Kinda annoying. No. Really annoying. So annoying that I flung my mike and ikes(treating myself to after dealing with grocery store) onto the belt and those bad boys broke open. They were everywhere! I was probably being punished for being so annoyed by the person in front of me for paying three ways!
- I think Will might have allergies. That or I really just like going to Annapolis Pediatrics to torture my child. He coughs throughout the night and wakes up incredibly stuffy. I thought this might be because of his two year molars but it is just lasting way too long. Plus we are outside in our backyard playing non-stop. So now I have to traumatize my kid with a trip to his Ped. just so I can get a referral to an Allergist for more torture.
- Will has gone pee on the potty twice. Both times he did it by himself with no real suggestion on my part. SCORE! After the second pee he was running around his room and he decided to poop right then and there. What the heck? Major FAIL! I think poops will be a hard one for him considering he likes to lay on his stomach to do his #2 business.
- Did some major spring/summer cleaning on Tuesday because I hate clutter! Do you ever just go through your things and just pitch them b/c you can't stand it anymore?
- Did anyone catch the NJ Housewives episode the other night? Danielle really freaks me out! Then I just heard she has a sex tape out. Seriously Bravo needs to cut the ties with her.
- Will is completely done with the binki. Sometimes he asks for it when he is cranky but I just tell him the dog ate it and he actually believes me.
- He also has been wanting to cuddle more lately, not sure if that is b/c he has been a bit under the weather.
- He also has just started to enjoy Disney movies which he will sit through. So we cannot wait to take him to see a Disney movie. Maybe Toy Story 3?
- Okay. I think I am done being random for a day.
Don't forget to enter my giveaway! Please. Pretty Please with cherries on top.

Tuesday Randomness . . .
- Mother's Day sucked bc I was sick yet again!
- So thankful Lew was off and able to take care of Will and actually feed him w/o my assistance.
- Starting to feel better but I am just so over this cold/flu season!
- Will is officially addicted to Wow Wow Wubzy. Not sure when that happened.
- He got a new tricycle and absolutely loves riding it around the house and he stores all his trains in the tricycle's trunk. Tricycle's trunk? Anyway.
- I was going to have crab legs for mother's day. Yeah. That didn't happen. I asked Lew if they were good. He said OF COURSE, they were awesome. Way to make me feel better!
- Going to catch up on all the dvr'd shows that I have missed since being sick.
- I am at 51 followers! Thanks for following me. I really and truly appreciate it!
- I got contacted to do a review for an AWESOME BAND and cannot wait to hear their whole cd.
- Lastly...Please pray for my BIL Kevin, he has been in the hospital since Friday. He was diagnosed with Pancreatitis(sp). We don't have a lot of info. on it yet but he has to change his whole way of living. No more alcohol and he has to change everything about the way he currently eats. We are all hoping and praying he is able to leave the hospital soon! If you know anyone who has this or you have info. on it, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks for listening to the randomness today. I will be back with a better post soon!

Our Randomness...
- Tomorrow is our big Thomas Day Out! I asked Will today if he was excited to go and see Thomas, his reply was, "I wuv you Thomas!" That explains it all.
- I truly believe that motherhood comes in stages...newborn...challenging...5-8 month stage...joyful and exciting...8 months-1 year....scared they will knock their head on every corner of the house and what else can they get into...then the 1st year marker...blissful....such a great year....2nd year marker...testing me...testing me and more testing me...good moments...bad moments....back to good moments again.
- Can you believe we are in the "thinking" about stage to have another little bubsy or bubzette? Me either...but you know what? It feels right.
- Will loves his new big boy bed now and even will let me know when he wants to go to bed! Totally amazing! Two weeks ago I was ready to give up. He has always been a great sleeper, just not the best at change.
- Lew has been working super long hours and unfortunately is going to have to add another day of work each week! Sucks big time. Will and miss him when he is gone. It also stinks because I have to arrange some of my clients around his schedule.
- Do you ever feel like one of your family member has a "tude" with you and you are not sure why? I kinda of feel like that way now.
- We are going to go to Door County, Wisconsin in August for a family vacation. That is where Lew used to go as a kid. It will be kind of neat to share that experience with Will.
- Lately I have been obsessed with Haribo gummy bears. Totally addicting.
- I am getting concerned that my wild flowers that I got from the dollar section at Target just might not grow.
- Will is talking so much now...in fact he repeats whatever we say. I actually feel like I can communicate with him now. So amazing how he is becoming a little person! He even says..." I wuv you mor den air." Such a cutie! That is our little saying that Lew's mom started way back.
- I am not the best cook but I am getting better. I am a baker and find it so relaxing.
- Is anyone happy that Kate is off Dancing with the stars? Yeah...me too.
- I wonder if the 16 and Pregnant moms are going to do the Teen Mom show? I kind of hope they show what is going on with the last cast. Yes. this is my guilty pleasure show. Along with many others....can we say I am so excited for the Housewives of NJ to come back! Major drama.
- Okay. I am done being random.
- Will says..."I wuv it!"
